A new video has surfaced on YouTube that gives an official look at the design of the upcoming LG G3.
As we move closer to the impending release of the LG G3, a new teaser video has surfaced on YouTube that gives a look at the design of the upcoming flagship and confirms Optical Image Stabilization camera technology and ultra-thin design.
Being a teaser, the 35 second clip doesn’t actually show anything we don’t already expect. It’s mostly suspenseful graphics and epic music. LG put most of the emphasis on its ultra-slim design and “brushed metal” backplate with rear buttons and the LG logo branding embossed in the middle. The video also teases the G3′s optical image stabilization (referenced by a moving camera sensor) and concludes with a tag line that reads, “Simple is the new smart.”
It’s pretty clear LG won’t be revealing much about the G3 before its release starting May 27th in London, other than its 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display with 534ppi pixel density. There have also been many high quality leaks that give a good indication on what to expect. So far we have seen the LG G3 in white, grey, and gold color options with the “brushed metal” finish now confirmed in the teaser. We speculate the LG G3 will be made out of plastic that imitates brushed metal.
There have been indications that suggest the LG G3 will come in two variants – one with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM and the other with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. Both models will support memory expansion via a microSD card slot and feature a battery capacity of 3,000mAh.
